Exports from Lightyear to QuickBooks Online can fail for a few reasons, most often a dropped connection, invalid integration credentials, a closed accounting period in QuickBooks Online, or a validation error on the bill or invoice. When an export fails, Lightyear displays a warning message with the error reason and directs you to the document's Activity History.

Fix error messages from QuickBooks Online
Lightyear runs built-in validation checks to make sure the data is correct before it sends a bill and its information to QuickBooks Online. If an export still fails, Lightyear displays the reason in a warning message. Find the message below to see its cause and fix.
Business Validation Error: The transaction needs to be in the same currency as the A/R and A/P accounts you use
This error occurs when the Vendor in QuickBooks Online is set up in a different currency than the invoice. For example, if the invoice is in GBP and the supplier is in AUD, this error will occur.
In QuickBooks Online, check the Vendor for this invoice.
Make sure the Vendor is set up to use the same currency as the invoice being exported.
Business Validation Error: Transactions can have only one foreign currency at a time
This error usually means your QuickBooks Online account doesn't support multi-currency transactions, or the currency of the invoice being exported is not set up correctly there.
Make sure the currency assigned to the invoice is the same as the currency in your QuickBooks Online account.
đNote: A QuickBooks Online customer or supplier can only have one currency.

Change the GL Code on the line item so you can export.
If the GL Codes all look correct, check your Rounding GL Code:

If it is, change it to another GL Code, or set up a Rounding GL Code within QuickBooks Online.

Prevent export issues
You can avoid most export issues by checking a few things regularly.
Check that the QuickBooks Online integration is active and connected. Use an admin account to manage the integration, so tokens don't expire or get revoked.
Keep accounting periods open for the dates of the invoices you're exporting.
