Access Financials and Dimensions - Header Description

When exporting to Financials or Dimensions, the Header Description field will now truncate when it is over 30 characters, where previously the export was failing.

Emailing Documents - Zip Files

We have made a change to our email uploads where users were previously able to send in Zip files, but these were getting stuck down the line and causing wider issues to Lightyear. Now, when Zip files are emailed in, they will unzip and upload the documents individually to Processing.

Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been resolved:

  • A gap where users without Review and Export permissions could Bulk Sign Off documents that were in the Review tab when they were not supposed to.

  • For Sage Intacct customers specifically, the attachment URL on Credit Notes (Adjustments) was not sending on exports when Attachment PDFs were enabled.

    • Please Note: this does not fix the API gap where PDFs do not send along with Credit Notes to Sage Intacct, this only relates to the URL.

Bug Fixes

The following issues have now been resolved:

  • Users creating new accounts were unable to select or change any options from dropdown menus

  • Users approving via External Task/Action Document via email were occassionally running into Internal Server Errors

  • Companies connected to Xero/Access Financials/Access Dimensions were sometimes running into issues where their imports/exports would get stuck and appear to not move

  • Some users with 2FA via SMS were not receiving texts to get logged into their Lightyear accounts

Mobile App Updates

We have made some mobile app updates to make sure you have the latest version on your device or you may run into unexpected errors or issues.

Some enhancements made are as follows:

  • Updating the colours to match the desktop colours, i.e., the new teal

  • Fixing an issue where the date format on an Expense Report was appearing as MM/DD/YY rather than DD/MM/YY (US based companies will still see MM/DD)
