Let's say you want to extract the Sort/BSB/Routing field as it wasn't automatically extracted. To do this, you can click on the left hand side of the screen, Panel 2, or on the document itself within Panel 3.

Panel 2

Click the Sort/BSB/Routing field and it will highlight in blue.

If you are editing a field that has already been extracted, it will highlight in Yellow within Panel 3, e.g., as in the below screenshot with the Bill Date field.

With the Sort/BSB/Routing field, once it has been selected, you can click the relevant field within Panel 3. In this case, it's simply labelled as Sort.

This is where it's important to read on through the different sections within the Modes article, as each mode has a different way to select/extract the data that is important to know.

Regardless of the Mode, you'll see a pop-over appear in Panel 3 to show what has been selected. If you're happy with this extraction, you can click Confirm and the data will populate in the selected field in Panel 2

Now, when you click onto the Sort/BSB/Routing field, it will highlight in Yellow in Panel 3 to show where the data has come from.

Clicking onto another field, you'll see the Sort/BSB/Routing field has changed to green and has a tick icon on the line to show it has been edited with a new value.

Panel 3

The other method is within Panel 3 itself. By default, you'll be highlighted on the first extracted field within Edit Mode, in this example, it's the Supplier field.

You can click the field you want to extract within Panel 3. Sticking with the Sort/BSB/Routing example, I have selected the Sort field on the document.

If you look within the pop-over, the field it is extracting into is the Supplier field, as this is what is highlighted within Panel 2.

Click this dropdown menu and you'll see the list of fields in the order they appear within Panel 2. Scroll down until you see the Sort/BSB/Routing field and click it. The pop-over will update to this field, and keep the extraction you'd clicked previously.

Click Confirm, and the extracted data will populate in the Sort/BSB/Routing field in Panel 2.
